Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the software team on a hybrid schedule with at least 3 onsite days weekly. The role covers device drivers, networking, encryption, and security across ARM and RISC-V platforms.

Requirements include a BS in EE or CS, 5+ years of embedded software experience, and expert C/Linux kernel development. U.S. citizenship due to government contracts is required.

• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsabilidades

• Implementation of software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Network management software and web interface development.
• Implementation of security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Audio streaming and push-to-talk voice application development.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP criteria.
• Develop testing software for performance and reliability testing.
• Device driver and BSP development for ARM and RISC-V systems.
• Linux system customization and scripting.
