Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is looking for a software engineer to join the Lighting ECU software team. The role focuses on embedded development for LEDs headlamp control with CAN/LIN, diagnostics, and advanced light functions.

Responsibilities include design, testing, documentation, and timely delivery. You will work on integrating third-party code, participating in reviews, and supporting release to validation or customers, in a collaborative automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Embedded software development with 5+ years.
• Automotive background preferred.
• Autosar experience is a plus.
• Experience with OS, I/O, EEPROM/DataFlash, CAN, LIN, Application.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software changes.
• Test and debug using bench tools (simulator, debugger, emulator).
• Prepare documentation for implementations.
• Deliver high quality changes on defined deadlines.
• Analyze root causes from validation and customers.
• Integrate third-party or team code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Manage release of software to validation or customer.
• Support the innovation team with custom software.
