Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an electronics designer for automotive lighting systems. You will design, validate, and release lighting electronics, and develop schematics and cost-effective quotes for new programs.

Responsibilities include defining specifications for LED/HID lighting, wiring harnesses, and communication interfaces (LIN/CAN). You will support manufacturing and product engineering and collaborate with OEM customers on design reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

Electronic design experience in automotive electronics (DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, reliability and validation)
Experience with circuit design and simulation (PSpice, Altium) and switching/linear power supplies
Embedded microcontroller development (C/C++, CAN/LIN programming a plus)
Circuit thermal analysis and EMC robustness in automotive products
Design for manufacturability and project management of multiple simultaneous projects
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, optimize, and release automotive lighting electronic products.
Prepare electronics quotes and schematics for new programs.
Develop specifications for LED/HID lighting, wiring harnesses, motors, and LIN/CAN communications.
Build knowledge base on latest lighting tech and regulatory requirements; support manufacturing and product engineering.
Interface with OEM customers for reviews and communications.
