Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced Sr Advanced Software Engineer for Display Services. You will work with a seasoned team to deliver certified software for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project, reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager.
Expect an onsite-first posture with a 90-day transition to a hybrid 3/2 schedule. You must have 8+ years in software development, 5+ years in C++ and design, and strong experience with Agile methodologies, embedded
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of C++ or object-oriented programming.
- 5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience.
- 5+ years of software architecture and design development.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and verify core Display applications on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement software solutions meeting performance, security, and scalability needs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Test and integrate on lab test benches; support certification efforts.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development.
