Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX and located in Aguadilla, PR, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and verify embedded software for aircraft connectivity products. You will collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and systems teams to deliver robust software solutions in C++, Ada, and Python on Linux.

You will contribute to integration, testing, and software release processes while working in a hybrid environment with on-site and remote work options.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English across all levels of an organization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, integrate and test communications systems for aircraft that support multiple ways of connecting the aircraft to the ground and the airlines.
• Work alongside FPGA, hardware, systems and software teams to embed advanced technology into a wide array of communications product portfolio.
• Conduct design, development, integration, implementation, and testing of embedded software in C++, C, Ada and Python on Linux OS for connectivity products.
• Prepare software builds for execution in a simulation environment, reference platforms and on target hardware.
• Prepare embedded test solutions that support hardware qualification activities.
• Participate in formal run for score and software release activities.
• Participate in root cause investigations for complex issues seen internally and by the customer.
