Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Software Engineer in the NGA group to design, architect and deploy cutting-edge Flight Display System solutions. You will work with a passionate team to deliver pilots-focused avionics software for Anthem and related platforms.

You must have 6+ years in embedded software and strong C/C++ plus OpenGL/Vulkan experience, with either low-level or graphics-oriented embedded backgrounds. U.S. export rules apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience in low-level embedded software (C/C++) or higher-level embedded graphics/displays (OpenGL, Vulkan) and cross-domain expertise.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development and implementation of high-quality Flight Display System software.
• Engage in full software lifecycle from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architectures.
• Own software modules, deliver features and advance avionics technology.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing avionics systems.
• Stay current with avionics tech trends to inform design decisions.
