Job summary

Amazon Leo is building secure embedded software for satellite hardware, with a focus on low-level systems, device drivers, Linux kernel modules, and porting software to embedded platforms. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle within an open, collaborative engineering culture.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on cross-functional teams in a demanding, space-grade environment, mentoring peers and shaping architecture while adhering to export control requirements and safety

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software in C++ and Rust.
Write software to interact with microcontrollers.
Design and develop secure software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
