Job summary

Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a senior Embedded Software Engineer (Autonomy) to design, integrate, and test safety-critical software for autonomous flight systems. You will work with a multi-site team and contribute to high-assurance embedded platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in C/C++, Python, and embedded development, experience with ArduPilot/PX4, and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance. Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA with occasional travel; remote options based on role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, CS, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of software development experience in embedded environments.
• Experience with autonomous flight systems (ArduPilot/PX4).
• Ability to obtain Secret DoD clearance and travel 25%.
