General Motors Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the ADAS Interactive Experience team. You will design and deliver production automotive embedded software spanning MCU firmware and SoC platforms, connecting vehicle signals and real-time controls to driver-facing alerts and experiences.

The role requires strong systems design, proficiency in C/C++, and a track record of shipping embedded software in safety-critical automotive environments.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional embedded software development and shipping for production products.
• Strong experience with C/C++ on MCU and SoC platforms, and with real-time or resource-constrained environments.

Mansioni

• Design and develop production automotive embedded systems for MCU firmware and SoC software using C/C++.
• Translate vehicle requirements into software architectures with clear interfaces, data flows, and timing budgets.
• Participate in architecture reviews, evaluating latency, determinism, memory, and safety considerations.
• Develop interfaces between real-time MCU apps and SoC services supporting driver controls and driver experience features.
• Ensure predictable behavior across power states, startups, shutdowns, and fault conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware bring-up, bench integration, and vehicle validation.
• Write clean, tested code following embedded standards and best practices; mentor junior engineers.
