General Motors is seeking an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Motion Controls Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement ADAS Lateral Control software for Super Cruise and related features. You will collaborate with multiple teams to deliver production software across controllers with high performance and reuse.

The role focuses on real‑time algorithms, robust validation, and ongoing software optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in control systems or motion planning.
• Strong background in control systems design (robust/adaptive/nonlinear/model-predictive).
• Experience with automotive simulation/validation (HIL/SIL) and embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and real-time software for automated driving features (Lane Keep Assist, ACC, Super Cruise).
• Build CI/CD pipelines to validate feature control performance.
• Perform software verification and in-vehicle testing.
• Collaborate across ADAS teams to deliver scalable software.
