Job summary

General Motors (GM) seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the ADAS Interactive Experience team. You will design and deliver production automotive embedded software spanning MCU firmware and SoC platforms, connecting vehicle signals, sensors, and real-time controls to driver-facing features.

You will drive system design, architecture, and interfaces, ensuring safety, determinism, and reliability across vehicle lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional automotive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, software/EE or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional embedded software experience.
• Strong C/C++ development on MCU and SoC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production automotive embedded systems spanning MCU firmware and SoC software using C/C++.
• Translate vehicle-level requirements into implementable software architectures and interfaces.
• Build reliable interfaces between real-time MCU apps and SoC services for driver controls and alerts.
• Write clean, tested C/C++ code following embedded software standards and team practices.
