Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software/engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing software for medical devices or other regulated products.
• Experience with a controlled product lifecycle (requirements to release).
• Strong embedded software development in C/C++, RTOS, hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead software architecture, requirements, design, implementation, and integration for embedded medical devices.
• Develop and maintain embedded software/firmware including RTOS-based apps and device drivers.
• Ensure regulated software lifecycle compliance (design controls, traceability, verification).
• Mentor engineers and communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations across stakeholders.
