Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test real-time embedded software with C/C++ on Linux and RTOS platforms. You will contribute to system integrity and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver hardened software for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in an Agile and DevSecOps environment developing and maintaining software on embedded processors/microcontrollers.
• Experience developing multithreaded applications.
• Experience building up and maintaining a code base built with CMake and Google Test.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Involved with software and firmware design, development, integration, and testing of real-time embedded solutions with application software, focusing on overall system integrity.
• Work with Systems Engineering to support design concepts and system architecture documentation, and decompose requirements for software development.
