Job summary

Epiq Solutions seeks a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer to advance SDR platform software, including embedded C/C++ drivers, libraries, and APIs. You will work with cross-functional teams to enable end-user configuration, control, and status monitoring of radios, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ARM-based Linux embedded development, strong C/C++, Python scripting, and experience with Docker/Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in software development for ARM-based Linux embedded sensors or hardware-intensive platforms.
• Proficiency in C/C++ library and application development.
• Experience with Python for scripting, tooling, and test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and build systems (Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Knowledge of Linux-based embedded systems and memory-mapped I/O interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new radio features.
• Decompose goals into software components and interfaces.
• Provide reliable effort estimates for development work.
• Promote best practices in software design, testing, and documentation.
• Develop applications on embedded Linux using GCC, GDB, make/CMake, and packaging tools.
• Expand automated test coverage and support CI/CD workflows.
