Job summary

Spectrum Control, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement software for embedded Linux and ARM-based products. You will build and verify systems, contribute to requirements, and develop testing methodologies.

The role requires a BS in CS/EE/CE and 5+ years of embedded development with Linux/Yocto, C/C++, and scripting. Occasional travel to our facilities is expected; on-site work with some flexibility based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE.
• 5+ years of embedded software development.
• Expert-level Linux and Yocto with BSP/recipes.
• Strong C/C++ on ARM with cross-compilers.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience with SCPI over VISA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Linux using Yocto Build Flow.
• Maintain revisions with Git and Docker.
• Develop embedded C/C++ apps for ARM.
• Develop networking software infrastructure.
• Create automated tests in C# for RF instruments.
• Provide documentation and customer support.
