Job summary
CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Los Angeles. This hands-on role focuses on designing and implementing embedded software across our software-defined radio platforms, with emphasis on Linux-based development and real-time programming on ARM cores.
You will lead firmware integration, develop low-level interfaces, and support system validation, working on-site with a small, agile team. U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
- Strong experience with Linux embedded development and device drivers.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and real-time programming.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance embedded software for software-defined radio platforms.
- Develop low-level software and firmware interfaces for complex RF hardware.
- Lead firmware/software integration efforts.
- Support full system integration, testing, and validation through deployment.
