Job summary

Epiq Solutions is seeking a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to embedded C/C++ drivers and libraries for our SDR platforms. You will implement APIs and support end-user configuration and monitoring across Linux-based systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and help drive CI/CD workflows using GCC, GDB, make, docker, and Jenkins. This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills and eligibility for US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in ARM-based Linux embedded software.
• Proficiency in C/C++ library and application development.
• Experience with Python scripting for tooling and test automation.
• Familiarity with Docker, Bitbucket, Jenkins CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with memory-mapped I/O and hardware registers.
• Knowledge of Linux-based embedded systems, Debian preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work on Federal contracts requiring US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new radio features and APIs across embedded platforms.
• Decompose requirements into software components and interfaces.
• Deliver reliable development effort estimates.
• Promote best practices in software design, testing, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
• Develop applications on embedded Linux systems using GCC, GDB, make/CMake, Docker, Jenkins.
• Expand automated test coverage with Pytest and hardware test equipment.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Document technical specifications and design decisions.
