Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Embedded Platform team to advance Jetson, IGX and DGX software with deep embedded Linux and real-time kernel expertise.

You will collaborate with a global hardware, safety and middleware teams to turn customer use cases into production-ready platform features, shipping BSPs for robotics and automation platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Linux and embedded systems development experience.
• Understanding of robotics, drones or industrial automation hardware.
• Experience shipping BSPs for robotics/drones/automation.
• Real-time Linux kernel development experience.
• Strong cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Implement features for Jetson, IGX, and DGX platform in robotics, drones, or automation contexts from board bring-up to production release.
• Define, build and tune real-time Linux Kernel for deterministic workloads based on GPU/SoC accelerators.
• Enable IOs and validate sensors interfaces on robotics, drones or industrial automation platforms.
• Collaborate with robotics partners and internal hardware, safety and middleware teams to turn customer use cases into platform features and tools.
• Engage in full product lifecycle from hardware bring-up to production deployment.
