Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a seasoned software engineer for autonomous vehicle hardware platforms and sensors, based in Santa Clara, CA. You will develop and bring up next‑gen software for DRIVE platforms and collaborate across software, hardware and systems teams.

You should have 5+ years of software design experience, strong C/C++, Python skills, and exposure to Linux/RTOS on ARM-based boards. The role demands sharp debugging and strong cross‑domain collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of relevant experience working on software design and development.
• Excellent communication and organization skills with good time-management and prioritization.
• Excellent C/C++/Python programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Software design, development and bring-up of next generation autonomous vehicle hardware platforms and sensors.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and systems engineering teams to support bring up of new hardware, debug and resolve in-vehicle system issues.
• Drive the reliability of the software platform including RADAR, LiDAR, Camera sensor processing and fusion.
• Analyze complex technical issues across software and hardware domains and drive issue analysis and resolution across multiple teams.
• Work in an environment which involves Hypervisor, Linux, QNX RTOS.
