Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for the Embedded Platform team to accelerate Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark software. You will apply your embedded Linux expertise to build and ship high-performance, real-time systems across AI at the edge.

Collaborate with global teams, own kernel features from board bring-up to production, and shape platform capabilities for robotics, drones or industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in Linux and embedded systems development with strong programming skills.
• Ability to engage with hardware teams and understand platform hardware architecture.
• Hands-on experience shipping BSPs for robotics, drones or industrial automation platforms.
• Experience navigating Linux kernel internals: device drivers, device tree, boot flow, tracing tools.
• Proven real-time Linux kernel development experience.
• RTOS experience such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement features showcasing Jetson/IGX-based robotics or automation capabilities from board bring-up to production release.
• Define, build and tune real-time Linux Kernel for deterministic workloads with accelerators.
• Enable IOs and validate sensors interfaces robotics, drones or industrial automation depend on.
• Collaborate with robotics partners and internal teams to turn customer use cases into platform features and tools.
• Engage in the full product lifecycle from hardware bring-up to production deployment.
