Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to serve as a Product Support Engineer, bridging Production Engineering and Product Development for embedded navigation products. You’ll address production issues, guide technicians, and drive design improvements across lifecycle sustainment.

You’ll lead test software evaluations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and become the product expert on navigation architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field required.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• 3 years electrical troubleshooting, embedded systems preferred.
• 3 years interpreting schematics, test data, and logs.
• Ability to translate system behavior into actionable guidance.
• Strong communication across production, design, supplier and test teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent issues with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to Production Engineering, coordinating responses to test failures and supplier issues.
• Provide system-level troubleshooting guidance to production technicians.
• Lead evaluation, testing, and rollout of new production test software.
• Collaborate with Production and Test Engineering to improve yield and processes.
• Track obsolescence risks and coordinate mitigation with Design Engineering.
• Channel production feedback to Product Development for continuous improvement.
• Develop product expertise on embedded navigation architectures.
• Support cross-functional data reviews and failure trend analysis.
