Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Advanced Project Engineer in the SGN Center of Excellence to drive product strategies for navigation systems across defense and civil markets. You will lead cross‑functional teams, define schedules, and manage risks to deliver mission‑critical solutions.

As part of a high‑caliber program, you will coordinate with internal leaders and external stakeholders, ensure DO-178/DO-254 compliance, and shape technology roadmaps while maintaining accountability and performance

Qualifications

• 4+ years in design engineering or project leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields from an accredited institution.
• Experience with program cost, schedule, and risk management.
• Familiarity with DO-178/DO-254 design assurance guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team on technical execution and risk management for Defense Navigation products.
• Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis and test strategy development.
• Manage program cost, schedule, WBS, and resource planning.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and Customer Business Managers.
• Support pursuit of new business and creation of BOEs.
• Develop schedules and milestones; monitor program performance.
• Foster customer relationships and address barriers.
