Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer for the Surface Defense Navigation team. You will act as a Product Support Engineer bridging Production Engineering and Product Development for embedded navigation products.

You will troubleshoot, coordinate production tests, and drive design improvements. The role requires deep product knowledge, strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration across production, test, supplier quality and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 5 years of engineering experience is required.
• 3 years of electrical troubleshooting with embedded systems preferred.
• Ability to translate system behavior into guidance for technicians and partners.
• Strong cross-functional communication across production, design, supplier and test teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to Production Engineering, coordinating responses to production tests and issues.
• Provide system-level troubleshooting guidance to production technicians.
• Lead evaluation and rollout of new production test software for development and sustainment.
• Collaborate to improve product yield and reduce recurring issues.
• Manage obsolescence risks and coordinate mitigation with Design Engineering.
• Channel feedback from production to Product Development for continuous improvement.
• Deeply understand embedded navigation system architecture and interactions.
• Support data reviews, failure trend analysis and technical decision-making for product health.
