Job summary
AV is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design and debug low-level Linux-based software for embedded systems supporting satellite, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular technologies. You will work with hardware prototypes, embedded processors, and lab equipment to develop foundational platform software enabling product capabilities across government, law enforcement, and commercial applications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years embedded or platform software experience.
- Strong C programming in Linux/Unix environments and Ubuntu.
- Experience with multithreaded design and hardware interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain low-level platform software for Linux-based embedded systems.
- Collaborate with hardware prototypes and lab equipment to bring up and validate systems.
- Debug complex system-level issues across software, OS, drivers and hardware.
- Lead code reviews and drive technical depth without people management.
