Job summary

Knowmadics is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to bridge hardware and software, bringing up embedded Linux on custom SoCs, FPGA-based platforms, and memory-mapped peripherals. You will work with hardware, FPGA, RF, DSP, and software teams to enable high-throughput data paths and robust drivers.

The role involves BSP/bootloader work, device trees, PCIe/DMA interfaces, and integration of custom hardware with Linux applications in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a relevant field with strong hardware/software integration background.
• Experience bringing up embedded Linux on ARM-based SoCs or FPGA/SoC hybrids.
• Strong C/C++ skills and scripting for automation (Python/Bash).

Responsibilities

• Bring up embedded Linux on SoCs and custom hardware platforms.
• Build BSPs, U-Boot, device trees, kernel config, and hardware enablement.
• Develop drivers and user-space interfaces for memory-mapped hardware.
