Job summary

Witekio, a leading embedded and IoT software specialist, seeks a Linux Embedded Engineer in the USA (Seattle or remote across select states). You will work on embedded C/C++, Yocto/Buildroot, and ARM-based Linux kernels across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include drivers, BSPs, middleware, and low-level software architecture, with collaboration across international teams. A MS/BS and 5+ years of experience are required; remote options available.

Qualifications

• Yocto, Buildroot distributions experience is required.
• Embedded C/C++ development and Linux kernel experience on ARM.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop middleware based on C/C++ and integrate on embedded platforms.
• Customize Yocto and Buildroot distributions.
• Develop device drivers for bootloaders and Linux kernels on embedded hardware.
• Create and modify BSPs to enable functionality, security, and updates.
• Contribute to low-level software architecture discussions.
• Manage schedules and deliverables with teammates and customers.
• Participate in project validation and estimation.
