Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C and C++ software development experience.
• Experience with Linux or embedded Linux systems.
• Experience with modern C++ and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing multithreaded and asynchronous software.
• Professional experience with Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
• Experience with Qt 6.8+ and Qt/QML.
• Experience with Linux development and debugging tools.
• Experience with Git or comparable version control workflows.
• Experience developing automated unit/integration tests (GoogleTest/CppUnit/Squish).
• Experience with Python scripting for tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain production-quality software for embedded Linux platforms.
• Develop maintainable C/C++ applications, services, and user interfaces using modern C++ and Qt 6.8+.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux platforms using Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, and BitBake.
• Support platform lifecycle activities and toolchain changes; perform validation and troubleshooting.
• Lead code reviews, contribute to architecture, and improve software engineering practices.
