Job summary

SIONYX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer V to drive embedded software development for advanced imaging products. You will own architecture for the embedded Linux/ARM video pipeline, lead sensor bring-up, FPAG/CSI-2 integration, and collaborate across hardware, firmware, and product teams.

The role requires 10+ years in embedded software, expert C/C++, and a track record shipping camera or real-time video pipelines. Remote-ready with on-site options in multiple locations.

Qualifications

10+ years shipping embedded software/firmware with architecture ownership.
Expert C/C++ on constrained systems.
Embedded Linux on ARM with bring-up and debugging.
Shipped camera/imaging/real-time video pipeline products.
Experience with MIPI CSI-2, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet.

Responsibilities

Lead development of complex embedded software solutions and act as a technical resource.
Own architecture for embedded Linux/ARM video pipeline.
Lead sensor bring-up, FPGA/MIPI CSI-2 integration, and interfaces between sensor, SoC, and camera.
Design, write, and debug C/C++ for MCUs, ARM SoCs, and embedded Linux.
Mentor and develop engineers; manage teams and performance.
