Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to drive the embedded Linux and camera-based sensing work for next-gen computer vision hardware. You will design and implement software across imaging sensors, drivers and real-time data pipelines, and collaborate across hardware and software teams to bring new camera systems to life.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in embedded C/C++ with hands-on hardware bring-up, strong debugging skills with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Experience integrating CMOS image sensors and camera modules.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for real-time imaging and camera-based sensing.
• Lead hardware bring-up with CMOS sensors and camera modules.
• Develop and troubleshoot camera drivers and low-level interfaces.
• Optimize image acquisition pipelines for latency and stability.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams to bring hardware from bring-up to prototypes.
