Job summary

TEKsystems in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Sr. Hardware Engineer Lead to drive embedded hardware design from concept to production. You will own circuit design, schematics, PCB reviews, and validation across EVT/DVT/PVT stages while ensuring manufacturability and compliance.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, and lead investigations into field issues, yield improvements, and design changes for robust, reliable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3–7 years of hardware design experience in embedded products.
• Experience taking products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design from concept through production and release.
• Lead analog, digital, mixed‑signal, power, sensor, wireless and MCU hardware design.
• Lead prototype bring‑up, verification, environmental and reliability testing.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for production and field issues.
• Collaborate with procurement on component availability and cost reduction.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex hardware issues.
• Support ISO 9001, documentation, and product certifications.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members.
• Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations.
