Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO is hiring an Embedded Hardware Engineer to design controllers, sensors, and accessories for power systems. You will develop firmware for hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and testing, and contribute to production launches across 150W to 100kW power ranges.

Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in electronics design, strong digital and embedded skills, and experience with schematic capture and PCB design.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field with 8+ years of electronics design experience.
• Strong fundamentals in digital circuits and embedded systems using microcontrollers.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for mixed signal boards.
• Knowledge of board level communications (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.).
• Experience bringing a design to volume production and testing with lab equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Design system controllers, sensors, and accessories for power systems and battery monitors with embedded microcontrollers.
• Develop and modify embedded firmware to support hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and testing.
• Contribute to sustaining efforts on existing legacy products.
• Specify and design production tests and equipment for new products.
• Perform testing for verification, regulatory compliance, and system integration.
