Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking engineers to participate in all phases of software development for satellite systems. The role focuses on embedded software in C/C++, Rust within a real-time OS, and collaboration with hardware teams across board bring-up and integration testing.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing flight software for satellite constellation, device interfacing via I2C/SPI/Ethernet, and leading design efforts with mentoring or tech-lead

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages in a real-time OS environment.
• Architect, design, and implement flight software for satellite constellation.
• Write software to interact with devices/electronics using I2C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, etc.
• Write device drivers and system applications for flight code and flight management.
• Work closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
