Amazon seeks a seasoned engineering leader for the Kuiper satellite software team. You will guide a group responsible for storage device software and OTA updates, ensuring reliability, safety, and security across satellite compute systems.

You will design, develop, and test embedded software that controls individual satellites, while shaping long-term technical strategy and fostering a high-performing team culture in a challenging space environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of systems.
• 8+ years leading multi-tier web services development.

Responsibilities

• Hire and support top talent to meet team goals.
• Define and drive the multi-year vision for the team.
