Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a software/engineering field.
• 12+ years of relevant technical experience in embedded software.
• Experience with designing, integrating, testing embedded software.
• Strong knowledge of disciplined software engineering practices.
• Ability to express software architectures using standard design methods.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust for embedded development.
• Willingness to perform part of work in-person at the company site.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded software structures for airborne systems that are modular and reusable.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across software development and hardware integration.
• Develop conceptual flight software architectures considering reuse and tradeoffs.
• Guide teams to implement standards and perform regular architectural reviews.
• Collaborate with software IPT Leads, System Engineers, and stakeholders.
