Leidos in Huntsville is seeking a Senior Embedded Flight Software Architect to design robust, modular software for airborne systems and to guide architecture choices across multiple products. You will work on embedded flight software, analysis tools, and mission planning components, using RTOS and MBSE techniques.

The role requires deep experience in embedded programming, system-level design, and leadership in agile environments, with a willingness to work on-site at the Huntsville office.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• 12+ years of relevant embedded software architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing real-time embedded airborne systems.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, or Rust and model-based design methods.

Responsabilidades

• Design embedded software structures and interfaces for modular airborne systems.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across software development activities.
• Develop and evaluate conceptual flight software architectures and MBSE models.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software IPT leads, and customers.
