Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, California, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Firmware to lead integration and validation of safety-critical RTOS firmware across vehicle controllers.

You will design, develop and debug high-quality C/C++ firmware, support hardware bring-up, and provide technical leadership for platform safety. The role requires a Master’s in CS/EE and 12+ months of autonomous-vehicle firmware experience, with hands-on work on Linux, SafeRTOS, and ARM-based

Competenze

Master's degree in CS, EE, or related.
12+ months firmware engineer experience in autonomous vehicle company.
Experience with C/C++, Python, shell scripting.
Experience with Linux, SafeRTOS, Bazel, Git.
Embedded development: BSP/HAL, ARM architectures.
Debugging tools: Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
Functional Safety: ISO 26262 processes.

Mansioni

Integrate vendor components across controllers and subsystems in safety-critical firmware.
Implement RTOS applications for vehicle platforms.
Design and develop high-quality C/C++ firmware for real-time embedded systems.
Support hardware bring-up and low-level debugging of boards and SoCs.
Collaborate with teams to bring up firmware on new devices and maintain operation across subsystems.
Implement safety-critical functionality, including fault detection, watchdogs, coordination, and validation.
Provide technical leadership for platform safety across subsystems.
