Job summary

Applied Intuition is looking for Embedded Software Engineers to develop embedded software applications on production computers for the next-generation vehicle platform. This is an in-office role in Sunnyvale, with potential occasional remote work as noted.

You will work on low-level C/C++ code, RTOS applications, hardware bring-up, and cross-functional collaboration to productionize software for safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree graduating by December 2026 or Summer 2027.
• Strong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly languages.
• Ability to do low-level debugging on hardware to ensure complete system operation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor components into a common software framework, ensuring proper low-level communication (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART etc.).
• Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) applications as required for the product.
• Architect and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments, including safety critical systems.
• Support hardware bring-up, including low level debug of board and SoC.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bring up custom software on new devices, productionize it, and manage the process for maintaining company products.
