Job summary

You will implement RTOS applications and develop high-quality C/C++ firmware for real-time platforms, supporting hardware bring-up and debugging across subsystems. Qualifications include a Master’s degree and 12+ months in a firmware role within autonomous vehicles, with strong Linux, SafeRTOS, ARM and debugging tool experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ months of firmware engineer experience in autonomous vehicle environment.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Linux, SafeRTOS, Bazel, Git.
• Embedded BSP/HAL development and ARM architectures.
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Lauterbach, scopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor components across controllers and subsystems in safety-critical firmware.
• Develop RTOS applications for vehicle platforms.
• Design and develop high-quality C/C++ firmware for real-time embedded systems.
• Support hardware bring-up and low-level board/SoC debugging.
• Collaborate to bring up firmware on new devices and maintain cross-subsystem operation.
• Implement safety-oriented features including fault detection, watchdogs, and system validation.
