Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer – Power Electronics in Merrimack, NH. You will write, integrate, and verify embedded firmware for DC/DC converters, inverters, and energy storage systems, from architecture to production release.

You will lead the firmware workstream, set technical direction, and mentor engineers while collaborating with controls, hardware, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field required.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in embedded firmware for power conversion or real-time control products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and verify embedded real-time firmware for power conversion products.
• Implement control algorithms in C/C++ on microcontroller- and FPGA-based boards.
• Lead firmware workstreams and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with controls, hardware, systems, tests, and manufacturing teams.
