Job summary

Flipturn, part of Einride, is hiring for a role focused on the Flipturn Controller, an onsite control computer that integrates EV chargers, batteries, and utility programs. You will build major features, gather customer feedback, and help steer the vision of our EV charging platform while shaping engineering culture.

You will work with modern technologies such as Yocto, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS, contributing to firmware and full‑stack improvements to accelerate deployments and support

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of firmware development experience.
• Experience with embedded Linux systems, build tooling (Yocto), bootloaders and board bring-up.
• Interest in firmware/hardware and full-stack development to deliver end-to-end product.
• Experience on fast-moving technology teams delivering features end-to-end.
• Interest in using AI tools to accelerate software development.

Responsibilities

• Build major features for the Flipturn Controller and EV charging platform.
• Gather customer feedback and drive the vision of the engineering team.
• Set culture and collaborate with a team of mission-driven engineers.
• Integrate with EV chargers, batteries, generators, meters and utilities.
