Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises seeks an experienced Manager of Embedded Software Engineering to lead a team in designing and optimizing firmware for Battery Management Systems (BMS). Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred with strong embedded software background.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software/firmware development.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware development for Battery Management Systems (BMS) ensuring safety and UL 60730 Annex H compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of embedded software engineers; set goals and allocate resources.
• Drive safety features and diagnostics in firmware (over/under voltage, electrolyte monitoring).
• Design and implement communication interfaces (CAN/CANFD, RS-485, I2C) for real-time data control.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for robust hardware-software integration; oversee validation and performance testing.
• Develop and refine engineering processes for efficiency, reliability and scalability.
• Create and maintain design docs, test plans, and compliance reports.
