Job summary
Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Advanced R&D to drive next-generation power tool electronics from concept to production. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in related design field.
- Strong problem solving and hands-on attitude.
- Knowledge of power electronics, motors, and motor control systems.
- Experience with embedded systems, debugging microcontrollers, and programming practices.
Responsibilities
- Identify technology gaps to product development and evaluate new electronics technologies.
- Design and build initial prototypes and concept models of electronics systems.
- Develop test plans, run simulations, conduct experiments, and assess feasibility with data.
- Provide hands-on assistance with product development from concept to production.
- Present information to cross-functional audiences.
- Track design and testing workflows to align with project schedules.
- Guide product development teams with integration and validation as solutions move forward.
