Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Advanced R&D to drive next-generation power tool electronics from concept to production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in related design field.
• Strong problem solving and hands-on attitude.
• Knowledge of power electronics, motors, and motor control systems.
• Experience with embedded systems, debugging microcontrollers, and programming practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify technology gaps to product development and evaluate new electronics technologies.
• Design and build initial prototypes and concept models of electronics systems.
• Develop test plans, run simulations, conduct experiments, and assess feasibility with data.
• Provide hands-on assistance with product development from concept to production.
• Present information to cross-functional audiences.
• Track design and testing workflows to align with project schedules.
• Guide product development teams with integration and validation as solutions move forward.
