Job summary

LHP Engineering Solutions seeks a Senior Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to lead cybersecurity for connected, firmware-based products on-site in Columbus, IN. You will collaborate with engineering, IT, manufacturing, and operations to design, implement, and operate secure solutions across the product lifecycle.

You will guide secure design and deployment, manage Azure DevOps pipelines, and drive risk assessments and remediation efforts for IoT systems and cloud services.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in EE, CE, CS, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded, IoT, or OT cybersecurity with firmware experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure Key Vault.
• Strong background in cybersecurity risk assessment and ISO 27001 familiarity.
• Understanding of embedded hardware/software interactions and secure boot concepts.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet/TCP-IP and industrial fieldbuses.
• Ability to collaborate across firmware, IT, DevOps, manufacturing, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cybersecurity SME in firmware NPD and cross-functional meetings.
• Provide guidance on secure design, coding, configuration, and deployment practices.
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines and key/certificate lifecycle management.
• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments for embedded assets and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies for IoT products across lifecycle stages.
• Create evidence to support ISO 27001 and related standards.
