Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced embedded cybersecurity professional for automotive systems in Milwaukee. The role focuses on threat analysis, secure development, and robust testing across in-vehicle networks and ECUs.

Responsibilities include hands-on assessment, using CAN tools, implementing secure coding practices, and supporting cryptographic technologies such as PKI and secure boot/flash. On-site collaboration with engineering teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as individual contributor or lead, onsite coordinator.
• 3–6 years relevant automotive cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of C/C++, embedded systems and scripting in Python/Perl.
• Experience with micro-controllers, cross-compilers, hardware debugging and flashing tools.
• Security assessment of automotive systems per ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms.
• Hands-on with CAN tools: CANalyzer, CANoe, VehicleSPY, ValueCAN.
• Solid understanding of AUTOSAR, CAN/UDS protocols and in-vehicle networks.
• Embedded security assessment, threat modeling, penetration testing and fuzzing.
• HSM-based security services, secure flashing, key management and PKI.
• Familiarity with cryptography concepts and secure coding practices.
