Job summary

Latitude AI is hiring for an Embedded Safety engineer to own hardware safety and power management across multi-core platforms. You will implement drivers for PMIC, voltage supervision, and thermal monitoring from datasheets and safety manuals.

You will lead the integration of safety diagnostics (LBIST/PBIST/ECC) into firmware, mentor teammates, and drive ISO 26262 traceability across hardware-software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant embedded experience (or higher degrees).
• Proven embedded C/C++ skills with memory management and no-exceptions design.
• Deep understanding of ARM-based SoC architectures and safety-focused design.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of hardware safety and power management.
• Implement low-level drivers for PMIC, voltage supervisor, and thermal monitor.
• Lead hardware-safety diagnostic frameworks and ISO 26262 mapping.
• Conduct deep-dive code reviews across safety modules and interfaces.
• Serve as SME for hardware-firmware-safety interfaces and arbitration.
• Mentor engineers on embedded safety patterns and traceability.
