Job summary

Latitude AI, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for the Sensor firmware team. You will develop embedded software for Radar, Lidar, and IMU sensors in a high-performance C++ environment.

You'll collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and production readiness, mentoring juniors and reviewing designs in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field with 7+ years of experience (or higher degrees with fewer years)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient embedded firmware for Radar, Lidar and IMU sensors.
• Collaborate with Software Architect to implement high-quality C++ code.
• Mentor junior engineers on design and code reviews.
• Design and test high-performance code in resource-constrained environments.
• Work with hardware/system engineers and suppliers to ensure product success.
