Job summary

Crestia Ventures seeks a Senior Engineer to lead planning, design, development, testing, and production support of tools and machines for HVAC/R market. The role emphasizes embedded firmware and mobile/desktop application development with a strong focus on technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering or CS, and proficiency across UWP, C++, C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET. Occasional extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of embedded firmware and mobile/desktop application development and testing.
• Understanding of new product development processes.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.
• Experience with UWP, Visual C++, C#, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Ability to code and test Android and iPhone/iOS applications.
• Experience across the complete software lifecycle from concept through post-launch.
• Strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers in designing tools and machines and serve as project lead when required.
• Own project goals, milestones, and technical deliverables.
• Mentor Engineer I, II, and III team members.
• Provide technical leadership from design concept through production.
• Develop test plans and perform product testing.
• Develop product specifications for new product ideas.
• Support new product development and stage-gate meetings.
• Convert rough designs into production-ready documentation.
• Maintain production documentation through established change processes.
• Support interviews, onboarding, performance reviews, and management of up to two direct reports.
• Train team members on established processes and perform other assigned duties.
