Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an Aerospace Software Apps Engineer III to develop and test real-time embedded software that controls rocket engines for human-capable spacecraft. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the software lifecycle, from requirements to verification and maintenance, ensuring safety-critical performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems (bare metal, RTOS, or Linux).
• Experience writing software requirements and working across the SDLC.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python; familiar with device drivers and interfaces.
• Strong debugging skills at software/hardware boundary and TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to learn fast, multitask, and drive tasks to completion.
