Job summary

City of Atlanta is seeking an experienced Airport Server Engineer to provide hands-on support for the City’s email messaging infrastructure, including Exchange Server, Teams, and Office 365. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining messaging solutions, ensuring security, and enabling enterprise-wide capabilities across IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; nine years of related experience may substitute
• Five years of virtual server experience preferred
• ITIL concepts knowledge preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Hands-on administration and support for messaging systems including Exchange, Teams and Office 365.
• Integrate Microsoft technologies with Active Directory and MFA.
• Install, maintain and secure Windows Server environments.
• Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations for Microsoft services.
• Diagnose mail routing, Office 365 issues and online meeting failures.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and security improvements.
