Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Messaging Engineer to administer, maintain, and optimize the Microsoft 365/Exchange platform. You will handle hybrid deployments, mail flow, security, migrations, and user administration, collaborating with Agile teams.

The role requires 4+ years' Exchange Server/Online experience, strong PowerShell skills, and a track record in hybrid environments. Starting pay is competitive with benefits and incentive opportunities for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
• Experience with Exchange Hybrid deployments, migrations, and security.
• Proficient in PowerShell and Exchange Management Shell for admin tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise email delivery and mail-flow issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Server environments, including Exchange 2016/2019 and hybrid deployments.
• Manage Exchange Online within Microsoft 365, including mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, and messaging policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hybrid Exchange configurations between on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Manage mailbox provisioning, migration, deprovisioning, permissions, delegates, and mailbox-related configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot mail flow, connectors, transport rules, accepted domains, routing, and delivery issues.
• Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication, Outlook connectivity, mobile access, SMTP, and other messaging-related issues.
• Perform Exchange mailbox migrations and monitor Exchange servers, databases, queues, services, certificates, storage, and overall messaging health.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in after-hours support and escalation activities as required including incident, problem and change management tasks.
